Rats (the good kind)

You know I think a lot of people have unfair feelings towards rats. Ok ya if you live in NYC I get that, they’re everywhere they’re not supposed to be and they’re gross. But I don’t mean the kind in sewers cause I hate those too, cause they’re dirty and mean. I’m talking about the kind from pet stores, you know the little brown and white ones (fancy rats).

Well I have two of them, Ferret and Possum (ok bad names but they’re fitting!) and they’re amazing!! But whenever I talk about them people are like “Ew!! Rats are so gross!!” I don’t really get this.Probably because there’s almost always been a rat in my house but come on people! Have you ever seriously hung around pet rats? They’re super cuddly and sweet! Not to mention smart! They also keep themselves very clean and are little clowns! Every rat I’ve had has shown me a different personality and way of doing things.

Well my rant for the day is done and I wrote this for two reasons, I’m bored and my rats are sleeping all cute like next to me and two because I felt people should be quickly and badly informed about the awesomeness of rats! Ok lame post but still! lol now go out and meet your new rat friend!!
